The Orchard at Caunton
The Orchard at Caunton is a new specialist satellite provision supporting primary-aged children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), delivered in partnership with Newark Orchard School, another school part of the CIT family.
Located on the former Dean Hole Primary School site in Caunton, ‘The Orchard at Caunton’ has been established to address the growing demand for specialist school places across Nottinghamshire, particularly for children with needs relating to Communication and Interaction (C&I).
This new provision will offer up to 20 specialist places for primary-aged pupils, providing high-quality, inclusive education closer to home and reducing the need for children and families to travel outside their local community to access appropriate support.
The Orchard at Caunton will open this Autumn 2026.
