Staff are taking on the ‘Three Peaks Challenge’
This July, a team of staff from Newark Orchard School will be taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge.
They will be climbing Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England, and Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) in Wales (the highest peaks in each country), aiming to complete all three within 24 hours, including the travel time between destinations.
The team have already begun their training, taking on long-distance walks in the Peak District to prepare for the challenge ahead. The group are taking on this challenge to raise funds for Friends of Newark Orchard School, whose tireless support helps the school provide fantastic opportunities and experiences for their students
